Preparing for the race at Zolder on Monday

It’s been a tough two weeks for the team. Everybody was anxiously waiting for news on Elvira after her crash in Zandvoort. You can imagine how happy we were when she finally wrote us a message in our CPF whatsapp group. 

She wants you to know that she appreciates all your support and says:

"Hi everyone, I know now that I will be going to Utrecht for revalidation. Right now I am waiting in the hospital until a space becomes available there. In the meanwhile, I am doing my exercises here and everyday it gets a little bit better. It won’t be easy but I am going to do everything I can to become as self-sufficient as possible. "

Our next race is coming up this Monday at Zolder, so a few CPF ladies gathered up at our home track today for some training and networking with some of our sponsors and CPF Friends.

Unfortunately, after the first couple of sessions, the track was closed due to a big oil spill in combination with a LOT of rain. So we continued the networking at the OTObar ;-)  

On Sunday evening the team will meet up in the Zolder paddock to set up the pitbox and discuss the tactics for the race. Afterwards we will spend some much-needed time together to reflect on what happened in Zandvoort. 

Unfortunately we need to announce that CPF #98 will not be ready to race this time.
